Position Overview

The National Sales Manager is responsible for building and executing effective business and competitive strategies that deliver on the company mission and values. This position has P&L responsibility, provides tactical leadership, coaching and guidance to Regional Sales Managers and Clinic Teams. This profile is accountable to lead, train and coach a team of results-oriented Territory Sales Directors in achieving sales budgets and driving per person productivity expectations within their territories.

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Business Planning

  • Sales Analysis: analyze and review all KPI & sales reports and support the RM team to action, with urgency, necessary steps to maximize per provider productivity opportunities.
  • Planning: review and identify opportunities to increase efficiencies and sales generation opportunities in the day-to-day clinic operations to align and mobilize well thought out and executed plans to improve business operations.
  • Competitor Analysis: complete regular SWOT analysis to be updated on local and national market developments.
  • Global Networking: actively participate in global meetings to identify learning opportunities and share local best practices.

 

People Management

  • Observation & Evaluating: validate staff performance to identify further actions for staff development, performance management and recognition.
  • Conduct One on One Coaching: provide performance feedback, acknowledging and developmental, to Regional Managers and foster leadership and management skills development plans and follow up milestones.
  • Training: create and execute training plans in collaboration with the training department for the various roles within the business to foster continued development and exceptional performance
  • Staff Planning: facilitate ongoing regional evaluation of staff to determine needs, for today and tomorrow; builds people plans to foster development, build succession plans and build bench strength across all regions
  • Networking: responsible to ensure RM team is identifying candidates with the right skill level and attributes; constantly recruit exceptional talent with right skill level and attributes
  • Interviewing & Hiring: validate the selection of candidates by the RM team.
  • Communication:
    • Conduct weekly conference calls/provide weekly email sales updates to facilitate regular communication with all the RM team to align on sales and operational objectives
    • Provide regular and timely feedback to head office support
    • Plan & conduct regular RM meetings to provide company updates and provide necessary training to these leaders
  • Engagement: create an engaging work environment by building positive relationships & maintaining open two-way communication channels

 

Operations

  • Clinic Visits: participate in regular purposeful clinic visits, prioritizing high volumes and underperforming clinics to validate appropriate action plans have been built and executed to maximize productivity goals.
  • P&L Management: monitor sales generation and profitability targets.
  • Maintain Health & Safety Standards: ensure all clinics follow all health & safety standards to maintain a safe work environment for all staff and clients.

Position Requirements

  • Education: University Degree
  • Previous Experience: Minimum 10 years experience in a sales management role in retail industry.
  • Languages: High English Level (min. B2)
  • Travelling: Frequent Travelling required. Availability for travelling national territory
